No. Pro is a single one-time purchase you own. There is no subscription and nothing renews. New features that ship later are included.
What is free without Pro?
The core is always free: your FIRE number, the live countdown, the home-screen and Lock Screen countdown widgets with a Graphite or System background, full input editing in monthly or yearly amounts, a one-tap net-worth update, the growth chart, milestone reminders and a monthly check-in, a manual target-date override, the real (after-inflation) return toggle, and the “How this is calculated” breakdown. You never hit a wall to see your number.
Can I try Pro before buying?
Yes. Everything is unlocked free for your first 14 days after setup. When the trial ends the app settles to the free tier. Your data stays, and you can unlock Pro any time.
Does my plan sync across devices?
Yes, privately. Your plan syncs through your own iCloud account (Apple’s private database). There is no account to create and no server of ours. The App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected.”
Does Restore purchases work?
Yes. “Restore purchases” re-applies your one-time unlock on a new device or after a reinstall at no additional cost. The unlock is tied to your Apple Account.
